All products are sourced in Valdobbiadene, Italy. 

Lenterosa is best served chilled. Feel free to enjoy our drinks your way - straight from the can, poured into a glass or served over ice for our spritz. It’s perfect for a solo dinner or a house party. 

We add a minimal amount of sulphites to help protect and stabilize the wines.

Our drinks come from winemakers who pride themselves on respecting the ecosystem. They use modern farming techniques and implement organic practices. However, not all of them are certified organic, as it's prohibitively expensive and challenging for smaller producers. 

Treat Lenterosa canned wine as you would any other quality wine. Store our cans in the fridge or a cool, dry place (ideally vertically).

Exposure to sunlight or high temperatures for an extended period of time will have an impact on the wine’s taste. Avoid exposing the cans to constant fluctuations in temperature.

We recommend you enjoy Lenterosa soon after it arrives (why wait around?!), but if you really need to postpone the fun, it’s best to finish the cans in 12-18 months.

This is the recommended time period from the manufacturers of cans, and has nothing to do with our wines.

Convenient: cans are light to carry and take up little space. They do not break or spill, preventing many incidents. The smaller package size also makes it better for personal consumption.

Sustainable: cans reduce emissions by 79% compared to glass bottles. They are infinitely recyclable and perfect from online sales & shipping as cans require less packaging material.

Our cans are filled with quality Italian wine. 

We’ve also been awarded two gold medals by the International Canned Wine Competition in California. 

One sip, and you'll fall in love.

A standard Italian wine pour is around 100-150ml, our cans hold 200ml, which is roughly equivalent to two glasses. 

Unlike some bottled wines, canned wine is not intended to be aged. We suggest enjoying it within a year to enjoy optimal freshness and flavor.

Yes! Cans are made of aluminium, a metal which recycles forever. This means that our cans are 100% recyclable with no loss of quality, forever.

The ability to be recycled, and be back on the shelf in 3 months, is the can's strongest contribution to sustainability. This also plays a big role in reducing the emissions by 79%.

In short, absolutely not.

A blind taste study by WBW Exhibition and WIC Research found that 51.3% of participants preferred canned wine or detected no difference in taste compared to bottled. 

A Forbes article on the same study concluded no strong preference between identical wines in cans versus bottles. Notably, 57.2% preferred dry Riesling in cans, and 68.3% preferred dry Rosé in cans.

In short, no.

Canned wines use a food-grade inner lining that prevents the wine from reacting with the aluminum, making them as safe to drink as a canned soda.

This also means that the taste of the drink inside the can is perfectly preserved.

While paper packaging has even lower CO2 emissions than cans and works great for still beverages, they explode under the pressure of our bubbly drinks (trust us, we've tried).

We are out looking for a better solution, but our cans are already out in the wild doing a great job at reducing your climate impact.

“Paper” packaging is also less commonly recycled due to the difficulty of separating the many layers of materials involved.

You can expect to have your cans in 3–4 days from the order confirmation.

We offer free shipping for all orders over 50€. Below that, shipping is 5€ for all of Italy.
